Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

Ethos Creative Agency LLC ("Ethos," "we," "us") is a Tennessee-based strategy and creative firm. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or interact with us through it, and what we do with that information.

If anything here is unclear, email contact@stevenlowry.com and we'll explain it in plain language.

2. Information we collect

There are two ways information reaches us.

What you give us. When you fill out a form on the site — a Strategy Session request, a contact message, or a newsletter signup — you provide information like your name, email, company, role, and whatever you write in the message field. When you book a meeting through HubSpot Meetings, you provide a name, email, and scheduling details.

What's collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and the tools we use automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and how you arrived (referring source)
  • Form interactions and basic engagement signals

This is the standard analytics footprint of a marketing website. We use it to understand which pages are useful and which need work.

3. How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule conversations
  • Send marketing email to people who opt in — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email
  • Operate the site, improve the content, and understand what's working
  • Maintain a CRM record of conversations and engagements so we can pick up where things left off

We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run retargeting pixels.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party tools to operate the site. These tools process your information as part of providing services to us, under their own privacy commitments:

  • HubSpot — content management, forms, CRM, email marketing, meeting scheduling, and on-site analytics
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — additional traffic and behavior analytics

We share information with these tools only as needed for them to do their job. We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information.

If we add a new tool that handles personal information, we'll update this page.

5. Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for two main purposes:

  • Functional — to make the site work (sessions, form handling, preferences)
  • Analytics — to understand traffic and improve content (HubSpot and Google Analytics)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

We don't use cookies for cross-site advertising.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information. We honor these rights regardless of where you live — you don't have to be in a particular state or country to ask.

Anyone can:

  • Ask what information we have on file about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Opt out of marketing email (via the link in any email, or by emailing us)

If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you additional rights, including:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use it
  • The right to delete personal information we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We don't sell personal information, so the CCPA "right to opt out of sale" doesn't really apply here — but the right is yours to assert if you want to.

If you're in the EU, UK, or EEA, the GDPR gives you additional rights, including:

  • The right to access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • The right to restrict or object to processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Ethos is a US-based business and not established in the EU. We process personal data only as needed to respond to your inquiries and provide our services, and the tools we rely on (HubSpot, Google) operate under recognized international data transfer frameworks.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@stevenlowry.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. How long we keep things

  • CRM and engagement records — kept for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick up future conversations or honor obligations. Typically up to seven years; deleted earlier on request.
  • Form submissions — kept in HubSpot under the same retention as CRM records.
  • Analytics data — kept under the default retention policies of HubSpot and Google Analytics.
  • Marketing email subscribers — kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

You can ask us to delete your records sooner — see Section 6.

8. Children's privacy

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
